We truly believe that disability is a state of mind, not of body. A person is disabled only if he thinks s/he is. We strive to make people with impairments into taxpayers!

Dear All,
My aunt is undergoing complete neuro rehabilitation at CMC Vellore after suffering complete spinal cord injury at T12/L1 level in the month of August 2010. She has Complete loss of sensation, inability to move both the lower limbs and Impaired Bowel-Bladder control.
She also suffered right hip fracture and due to this Caliper has been ruled out at present. She has to fall back on wheelchair usage.
We need advice from the group about the wheelchair availability and options in Chennai. Please respond.
